The Peg Loom

The peg loom follows similar traditional methodology as other
looms. The difference is you work
upwards instead of horizontally. In many instances, you also use thicker material than other looms. The peg
loom is basically as number of long pegs sticking up in a board (or something
similar). It operates something like

How wide your project is depends on the width of the base unit. With this type of loom, you can make place mats, rugs, place settings etc.

Unfortunately, most instruction manuals (better referred to as booklets) that come with weaving looms aren't overly explanative regarding how to use them. For this reason, I would recommend you either access sites such as this or go searching on youtube (or equivalent) to see how other people are doing it. Apart from that happy weaving. |
